The Tuckers

An Alternate Rock Band from the North East.
 

From small town Alnwick (near Newcastle)
the band formed with a great passion for playing music
writing and performing .

Each member being from a different musical background
They blended all their favourite insperations tastes and styles
resulting in their own profesionally packed show that boasts
originality and diversity. 
 

The band have a great history of performing including festivals in
Newcastle and Reading to crowds of 7000 and more.
Headlined at Liverpools famous Cavern Club.
A two week tour of Holland courtesy of 'the music reps' (Netherlands)
and by playing regulary around Newcastle and proving
their powerful onstage presance as profesional performers and musicians
have earned themselvs regular slots at Newcastles Carling Academy
where they have supported big acts such as 'Just Jack.' and latest chart toppers 'One Night Only' 


The Tuckers have proven their popularity by winning Channel 4’s Popworld Promotes competition in 2006 with their brilliant anthem ‘Same Old Streets’. The televised competition was entered by over 2000 bands. The Tuckers won the competition with a massive 3,500,000 votes, the highest winning margin in the competitions history.


The Band have also made several T.V apperaces including programmes Such as ITV Tyne Tees, BBc Look North, and Channel 4s Popworld.

We are hard working musicians and always put a lot of time and energy into what we love. By staying true to ourselves and standing out from the crowd we have been successfully making our way up the ladder and are certainly ready to be taken on by professional Management/Company that can take us to the next stage.

With extremely diverse tracks, from Rock to Indie to Pop and Dance/Rock classic 'Children of 'The Sun' we certainly have a lot to offer to todays popular music scene.
